Guided Snowshoeing & ski touring tour in Julian Alps & Triglav National Park (1+ Days)

The Triglav national park is the only national park in Slovenia. And it is an absolutely amazing park to visit. The park is filled with beautiful rivers like the Soca and the Sava, valleys, and the mighty Triglav mountain (2,864m). Triglav is also the highest mountain in the entire Julian Alps mountain range. There are several different ways you can explore the Triglav national park. You can hike through the park. You can ski tour through the park. And you can snowshoe tour through the park, which is what we’ll be doing on this trip. For approximately 4 – 6 hours, depending on your preferences and physical ability, you will get to tour through the park with wooden snowshoes on your feet.

You will get to trek through different types of terrain. From snow covered meadows to open plateaus, or through the woods, surrounded by snow draped trees, you will get to explore a huge portion of the enormous Triglav national park.

Some of the highlights of what you’ll see during this trip include the Bovec valley, Kobaird, The Tamar valley, the Pokljuka plateau, the Bohinj lake, the Vrsic mountain pass, and so much more. It really doesn’t matter how you get to see the Triglav national park. All that matters is that you do see it because it is a phenomanel place to visit.

However, seeing it during a snowshoe tour in the middle of winter will definitely give you a unique experience. So send me a request, and let me guide you. I know you’ll have a great time!
